Placed on 1st Reading & Referred <br />Finance Cmte on 12/6/93. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 55-95 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for <br />expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal <br />year ending December 31, 1993. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the <br />usual daily operation of municipal departments in that projects <br />already approved and budgeted for 1993 will not he'able to be <br />completed this year without this additional appropriation: now, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section I. <br /> <br />Secti on 2. <br /> <br />That there be appropriated from The Police Pension Fund: <br /> <br /> Additional Fu.pds for Pension Costs $12,600 <br /> <br />That there be appropriated from The Workers Compensation <br />Fund: <br /> Additional Funds for Claims Costs '$32,200 <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />That there be appropriated from the Litterless Lakewood <br />Fund: <br /> Additional funds for non-grant related <br /> expenditures $3,000 <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />That there be appropriated from the Breakwall <br />Improvement Funds: <br /> Additional funds for the Crane Sessions <br /> Breakwall Bond Retirement principal <br /> payment $13,000 <br /> <br />Section 5. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts <br />appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly <br />approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is <br />incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all claims <br />of City Council. <br /> <br />Section 6. It' is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> to <br /> ordinance i hereby declared ~be-_ajl~emergency <br />Section 7.
