PLACED ON 1st READING ~ REFERRED to <br />PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE 11/21/94. <br />PLACED ON 2nd Reading on 12/5/94. <br />Amended at Table on 2/6/95. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 101-94 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Boscia, Flannery, George, Gibbo] <br /> Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Director of <br />Public Works to engage architectural and/or engineering firms to provide <br />professional services in the design and preparation of specifications and <br />contract administration and to advertise for bids and enter into a contract <br />with the lowest and best bidder for Building and Facilities Improvements in <br />accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood, contracts not <br />to exceed the specified amounts shown without separate Resolution of Council. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate <br />preservation of the public property, health and safety, and to provide for the <br />usual daily operation of municipal departments in that certain capital <br />improvements projects are to be undertaken in 1995 in aCcordance with the <br />Capital Improvement Plan for fiscal year 1995, now <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized <br />and directed to engage architectural and/or engineering firms to provide <br />professional services in the design and preparation of specifications and <br />contract administration and to advertise for bids and enter into a contract <br />with the lowest and best bidder in accordance with the Administrative Code of <br />the City of Lakewood for the following Buildings and Facilities Improvements, <br />contracts not to exceed the specified amounts shown, except as hereinafter <br /> <br />provided: <br /> <br />Service Garage Roof Repair <br /> <br />Oldest Stone House Walkway - Repairs & Upgrade <br /> <br />Resurface Refuse Lot & Driveway <br /> <br />Service Garage Lighting Improvement Project <br /> <br />Winterhurst - Replacement of <br /> Driveway & Apron <br />Removal of Underground~Storage Tanks <br /> <br />Traffic Signal Upgrades <br />Hazardous Waste Removal <br />Resurface Clarifier Troughs - WWTP <br /> <br />$35,000.00 <br /> <br />5,000.00 <br />80,000.00 <br /> <br />15,000.00 <br /> <br />12,000.00 <br />15,000.00 <br />15,000.00 <br />10,000.00 <br />32,000.00 <br /> <br />Section 2.
