<br />PLEASE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORnxNANCE NO. 78-95 PLACED <br />ON 1st Reading & REFERRED TO FINANCE CMTE 12/4/95. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO <br /> <br />78-95 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Flannery, George <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to adjust appropriations for expenditures of the City of <br />Lakewood, State arOhic, for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1995 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of the public <br />property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKE WOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br />Section 1 <br />below' <br /> <br />"That appropriations be increased in the following funds by the amounts stated <br /> <br />Crane Sessions Breakwall Fund <br />Waterford Breakwall Fund <br />Fire Pension Fund <br />Debt Service Futld <br />Downtown Development Fund <br />Hospitalization Fund <br /> <br />13,789 <br />221 <br />21,000 <br />120,000 <br />20,000 <br />230,000 <br /> <br />Section 2 That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to draw checks upon <br />the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are <br />presented properly, approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is <br />incurred, providing the President of Council shaU approve all chums for City Council <br /> <br />Section 3 It is found and determined that aU formal actions of this Council concerning and <br />relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an opert meeting of this Council. and that <br />all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal <br />action were in meetings open to the public in compliancé with all legal requirements <br /> <br />Section 4 That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons <br />stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of aU <br />members ejected to Council, it shaH take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period <br />allowed by law <br /> <br />Adopted ~ Ii¡ Hfs <br /> <br />\ kiL. íðDs~ <br />President of COlmcil <br /> <br />ftUh--r::J.~ <br />Clerk of Council <br /> <br />Approved ~i..l.^-, :;¿j9 9 r_ <br /> <br />~ -~'- <br /> <br />
