ORDINAN~ENO. 23-97 BYloscia, Corrigan, <br /> Flannery, George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Director of Finance to sell, through <br />public auctions, various obsolete, surplus and non-functioning City vehicles, materials and/or <br />equipment. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. it is in the best interest of the City to sell this obsolete, surplus and non- <br />functioning equipment to make better use of the space it occupies and to realize a profit from the <br />sale, now therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and she is hereby authorized and directed to <br />sell, through public auctions, held in the spring and in the fall, various obsolete, surplus and non- <br />functioning City vehicles, materials and/or equipment after advertising according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning <br />and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, <br />and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such <br />formal action, were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />ADOPTED: <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
