PLEASE SUBSTITUTE _' ORDISaNCE N0. 24-98 <br />PLACED ON 1st Readi.._ $ Referred to <br />PLANNING COMMISSION 3/2/98; PLACED ON <br />2nd Reading on ~/-6/98. <br />ORDINANCE NO: 24-98 BY: Corrigan, Flannery, George, <br />Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br />AN ORDINANCE to amend the Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood. <br />WHEREAS, the amendments to the Zoning Code promotes the development of and protects existing <br />residential uses found throughout the City thereby protecting property values; and <br />WHEREAS, the amendments to the Zoning Code encourages the orderly development and retention <br />of commercial uses in a manner consistent with the Community Vision; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHiOr. <br />Section 1. That existing Section 1103.02(u) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />Lakewood, now reading respectively as follows: <br />1103.02 DEFINITIONS <br />(u) DAY-CARE, TYPE A FAMILY HOME means a permanent residence of the administrator in <br />which child day-care or publicly funded child day-care is provided for seven (~ to twelve <br />(12) children at one dme or a permanent residence of the administrator in which child day- <br />care is provided for four (4) to twelve (12) children at one time if four (4) or more children <br />at one time are under two (2) years of age. In counting children for the purposes of this <br />division, children under six (6) years of age who are related to a licensee, administrator, or <br />employee and who are on the premises of the Type A home shall be counted. Type A <br />Family Day{are Home does not include a residence in which the needs of children are <br />administered to, if all of the children whose needs are being administered to if all of the <br />children whose needs are being administered to are siblings of the same immediate family <br />and the residence is the home of the siblings. Type A Family Day~Care Home and Type A <br />Home do not include any child day camp.
