PLACED ON 2NDf~ <br />READING 4/5/00. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 25-00 BY:Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith. <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and £~dng salaries of the <br />annual sal,'uJed employees and hourly paid employees not covered by a collective <br />barg~dning agreement in the several departments and divisions of the City of <br />Lakewood, excluding the Divisions of Police and Fire, effective April 1, 2000, and <br />creating the positions and fixing the annual salary of the Chief of Police, the Chief of <br />Fire and Civil Service Commissioners, effective January 1, 2000. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the usual dally operation of a municipal department in that in the interest of public <br />s.ervice, welfare and safety, it is necessary to fix the compensation of employees; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
