PLACED ON 1ST READING ~ REFERRED TO RULES [ ORdinAnCES $/1/00, ~LACED ON 2ND READING S/iS/{ ORDINANCE NO. 28-00 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith AN ORDINANCE to amend the title of Chapter 1321, Licensing of Electrics'ams and Heating and/or Air Conditioning Contractors to include a reference to Plumbers in the titles, as regulations for the licensing of Plumbers has been included in this Chapter. WHEREFORE, Ordinance 25-91, adopted by Lakewood City Council on May 6, 1991 included plumbers as individuals who are required to obtain a license from the Building Commissioner when acting in the capacity as a contractor in the City of Lakewood; and WHEREFORE, the City has contracted to have the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood updated and reprinted to contain all of the changes since the last codification of the Ordinances; and WHEREFORE,' this change wil make finding licensing requirements for plumbing contractors more easily found and accessible to the public. BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the title of Chapter 1321 now reading as follows: Chapter 1321 Licensing of Electricians and Heating and/or Air Conditioning Contractors 1321.01 LICENSING REQUIREMENT (a)... shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: Chapter 1321 Licensing of Electricians, Plumbers, and Heating and/or Air Conditioning Contractors 1321.01 LICENSING REQUIREMENT (a).., Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its · committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public ~n compliance with all legal requirements.
