ORDINANCE NO. 48-0~ BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith. AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and rates of pay fOr full-time and certain part-time annual salaried employees and hourly rate employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement in the several departments, divisions and offices of the City of Lakewood, effective April 1, 2001, and for the Chief of Fire, Chief of Police and Civil Service Commissioners, effective January 1, 2001. WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual dally operation of a municipal department in that in the interest of public service, welfare and safety, it is necessary to adjust the compensation of employees; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. Classifications, rates of pay, pay grades, levels and certain other supplemental compensation for full-time and pm-time, annual salaried and hourly rate employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement are hereby authorized in the several departments, divisions and offices of the City of Lakewood as fixed in accordance with the Administrative Employee Salary Administration Program Policy and Procedures, and with the approval of the Department Director, Director of Finance, Human Resources Administrator and Mayor. Effective April 1, 2001, all employees shall receive a general increase to their existing rate of pay of 4.5%, provided that such resultant increase does not increase any employee's rate of pay to an amount less than the minimum rate for the pay grade as follows: Section 2.
