Please Substitute for Ordinance No. 62-01, <br />(Placed on Ist Reading & Referred to the <br />Public Works and Finance Committees <br />1213/01.) <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 62-01 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, Dunn, FitzGerald, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Director of <br />Public Works to engage architectural and/or engineering firms to provide professional <br />services in the design and preparation of specifications and contract administration and <br />to advertise for bids and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder for <br />Infrastructure Improvements in accordance with the Administrative Code of the <br />City of Lakewood, contracts not to exceed the specified amounts shown without <br />separate resolution of Council. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Coundl by a vote of at least five (5) members elected <br />thereto determines that this ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this <br />ordinance shall take effect at the earliest' date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III, <br />SECTIONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMMENDED CHARTER OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of <br />municipal departments in that certain capital improvements projects are to be <br />undertaken beginning .lanuary 1, 2002 in accordance with the Capital Improvement <br />Plan for fiscal year 2002.' Now therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
