<br />AN EJ\1ERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Ordinánce No. 7-02, passed February 19, 2002, for the purpose of
<br />establishing additional appropriations for current éxpensesand other expenditures of the City of Lake wood, State
<br />of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2002.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, an. emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of the public property, health and
<br />saf~ and to provide for the usual daily operation of illm1ÌcipaI departments; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Ohio Revised Code Section 5705.38 requires that a pennanent appropriation measure be established
<br />prior to April pi and the proposed budget will be reviewed alid ari:J.ended during budget hearings to be held
<br />throughout the first quarter 0£2002;
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five (5) members elected thereto determines that this ordinance.is an
<br />emergency measure, and that this ordinance shall take effect at the earliest date possible as set forth in ARTICLE
<br />III, SECTONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it
<br />is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual
<br />daily operation of municipal departments in that this Ordinance must go into effect prior to April 1, 2002 Now
<br />Therefore,
