ORDINANCE NO. 9-02 BY:Corrigan, Dunn, FitzGerald, George Roth, Seelie, Skindell AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE establishing rates of admission to the Lakewood Municipal Swimming Pools located at Lakewood Park and Madison Park, and superseding Ordinance NO. 21-91 adopted May 6, :[991 and all other ordinances inconsistent herewith. WHEREAS, the cost of the operation of the municipal pools has increased, and an increase on the admission charges is necessary to maintain the programs of the pool, and WHEREAS, the City of Lakewoocl .contributes to the pools by providing all supplies, maintenance and maintenance personnel and will continue to do so; and WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least fNe (5) members elected thereto determines that this ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance shall take effect at the eadiest date possible as set forth in AR'I'[CLE III, SECTONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE CTI'Y. OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that this ordinance is necessary to prepare for the 2002 swimming season. Now Therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKE'WOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the rates for admission to the Lakewood Municipal Swimming Pools situated at Lakewood Park and Madison Park be and the same are hereby established as follows: A. PASSES FOR OPEN SVVIMMING Residents Adult $ 35.00 Student 25.00 Senior -0- Non-Residents Adult 70.00 Student 50.00 .Senior 50.00 Resident Family Admission (Limit 2 Adults) First Family Member Additional Members - Non-Resident Family Admission (Limit 2 Adults) Rrst Family Member Additional Members 35.00 25.00 70.00 50.00 GENERAL ADMISSION~ Resident Adult Student 3.50 3.00
