Placed <br />on 2"' Reading and Rcfen'ed to Finance <br />Committee 12/02/02.) <br /> <br />OrdinanceNo: 155-02 BY: Corrigan, Dunn, FitzGerald, George, <br /> Seelie, Skindell. <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of <br />Public Works, the Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Procurement Officer to enter into <br />contracts for professional services, and to advertise for bids and enter into contracts for the purchase of <br />repair maintenance and operating supplies, services and equipment as authorized by the 2003 <br />Appropriation Ordinance and the administrative Code of the City of Lakewood with the lowest and best <br />bidder or bidders or as otherwise provided by law. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure in that it provides for the <br />immediate preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a <br />municipal department, as delay could impair the City's ability to provide necessary services in a timely <br />manner, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1.
