AN ORDINANCE to amend Chapter 1135 - Mixed Use Overlay District- of the Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, the amendments to the Zoning Code promotes the development of and protects existing residential uses found throughout the City thereby protecting property values; and WHEREAS, the amendments to the Zoning Code encourages the orderly development and retention of commerciai uses in a manner consistent with the Community Vision. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTIY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That existing Section 1135.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading respectively as foilows: 1135.04 LOCATION OF MIXED USE OVERLAY DISTRICT Location of a Mixed Use Overlay District is limited to Cl Office, C2 Retaii, C3 Generai Business Districts or the MH, Muitiple.Family, High Density Residential District. shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as foilows: 1135.04 LOCATION OF MIXED USED OVERLAY DISTRICT Location of a Mixed Use Overlay District is limited to Cl Office, C2 Retail, C3 Generai Business, C4 Public School District or the MH, Multiple-Family, High Density Residential District. Section 2. It Is found and determined that ail formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this Ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that ail such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compiiance with all legal requirements, Adopted: '11.
