<br />AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, the
<br />Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Procurement Officer to enter into contracts for
<br />professional services, and to advertise for bids and enter into contracts for the purchase of repair
<br />maintenance and operating supplies, services and equipment as authorized by the 2005 Appropriation
<br />Ordinance and the administrative Code of the City of Lakewood with the lowest and best bidder or
<br />bidders or as otherwise provided by law
<br />
<br />WHEREAs, this Council desires to provide the authorization to the Mayor (Director of Public Safety),
<br />the Director of Public Works, the Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Procurement
<br />Officer to enter into contracts for professional services, and to advertise for bids and enter into contracts
<br />for the purchase of repair maintenance and operating supplies, services and equipment as authorized by
<br />the 2005 Appropriation Ordinance and the administrative Code of the City of Lakewood with the lowest
<br />and best bidder or bidders or as otherwise provided by law, and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five (5) members elected thereto detemIines that this
<br />ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance shall take effect at the earliest date possible
<br />as set forth in ARTICLE ill, SECTIONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMMENDED CHARTER OF THE
<br />CITY OF LAKEWQOD, and that it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal
<br />departments, in that delay could impair the City's ability to provide necessary services in a timely
<br />manner, now, therefore,

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OliO
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, the
<br />Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Procurement Officer be and are hereby authorized
<br />and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for supplies, se.tvices and equipment with the lowest and
<br />best bidder or bidders or as otherwise provided by law, as follows:
