<br />AN ORDINANCE to establish temporary appropriations for current expenses and
<br />other expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for three months,
<br />]anuary~l, 2006 to March 3i, 2006 as provided by Ohio Revised Code Section
<br />5705.38.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to provide for the operations of the City of
<br />Lakewood during the first quarter of 2006 until the 2006 operating budget can
<br />be approved, by establishing temporary appropriations for current expenses and
<br />other expenditures for three months, 3anuary 1, 2006 to March 31, 2006, as
<br />provided by Ohio Revised Code Section 5705.38, and~
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at Feast five members elected thereto
<br />determines that this ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance
<br />shall take effect at the earliest date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III~
<br />SECTfONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER 'OF THE CiTY OF
<br />LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of
<br />the City in that the City must record all financial transactions within the
<br />appropriate fiscal period. Now therefore,
