<br />AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it received the affirmative vote of
<br />at least five (5) members elected to Colfficil otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the
<br />earliest period allowed by law; amending Ordinance 10-06A, adopted September 18, 2006 for the
<br />purpose of anthorizing and directing the Mayor (Director of Pnblic Safety), the Director of
<br />Public Works, and the Director of Finance to advertise forbids and enter into a contract with the
<br />lowest and best bidder in accordance with the Administrative Code of (be City of Lakewood, for
<br />the purchase of the listed Vehicles and Equipment, contracts not to exceed the specified
<br />amounts shown without separate Resolution of Council.

<br />WHEREAS, this Conncil by a vote of at least five (5) members elected thereto
<br />determines that this ordinance is an emergency measure, and that. this ordinance shall take effect
<br />at the earliest date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III, SECTIONS 10 and 13 of the SECONP
<br />AMMENPED CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary to provide
<br />for the nsnal daily operation of municipal departments in that delay conld impair the City's
<br />ability to provide necessary services in a timely manner. Now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO
<br />
<br />Section 1. That Ordinance No.. 10-06A, adopted September 18, 2006 currently reading as
<br />follows:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Pnblic
<br />Works, and the Direètor of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to advertlse for
<br />bids and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder in accordance with the
<br />Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood, for the following vehicles and equipment,
<br />contracts not to exceed the specified amounts shown, except ás hereinafter provided:
