ORDINANCE NO, 15-o6 <br /> <br />FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE establishing rates for each two-week session of the <br />Help to Others (H20) Summer Camp, a program of the Lakewood Department of <br />Human Services/Division of Youth, effective ]une :1, 2006. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current two-week Summer Camp session fee is $45.00, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the ~ost to operate the H20 Summer Camp has increased and a fee <br />increase is necessary to maintain the program, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the H20 Summer Camp is a program only for Lakewood residents, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Coundl by a vote of at least five (5) members elected thereto <br /> determines that this resolution is an emergency measure, and that this resolution shall <br /> take effect at the earliest date possible as set forth in ARTICLE I]I, SECTONS :10 and 13 <br /> of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is <br /> necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety, and <br /> to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that the contract <br />. for the current prOgram year begins October 1, 2004, Now Therefore, <br /> <br />BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That /he fee for participation in a two-week H20 summer camp <br />session operated by the Department of Human Services/Division of Youth be and the <br />same are hereby established effective 3une 1, 2006 as follows: <br /> <br />Lakewood Deoartment of Human Services/Division of Youth <br /> Held to Others ¢H201 Summer Caren <br /> <br />Two-week Session (each) <br /> <br />$$0.00 <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3. 'Fhat this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, <br />health, safety and welfare in the City and for the usual daily operation of the City for <br />the reasons set forth and defined in the preamble to thi~ resolution, and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) of its members elected to Council, this <br />resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption by the Council <br /> <br /> <br />
