FitzGerald. digan,Seelie. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE to take effect Immediately provided it received the <br />affirmative vote of at least five (5) members elected to Coundl otherwise, It shall <br />take effect and be In force after the earliest period allowed by law authori2lng the <br />Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Worl<s, the Director of <br />law, the Director of Finance, and/or the ~urchaslng Manager to enter Into <br />contracts for Memberships as authorized by the 2006 Appropriation Ordinance <br />and the Administrative Code of the Oty of LBkewood, contracts not to exceed <br />$75,000 without separate Resolution of Coundl. <br />I I <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to provide the authorization to the Mayor <br />(Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Worl<s, the I;II~r of law, the <br />Director of Finance, and/or the Purchas1ng Manager to enter Into contracts for <br />Memberships as authorized by the 2006 Appropriation Ordinance and the· <br />Administrative Code of the Oty of lakewood as otherwise provided by law, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Coundl by a vòte of at least five (5) members elected <br />thereto determines that this ordinance Is an emergency measure, and that this <br />ordinance shall take effect at the earliest date possible as set forth In ARl1a.E ill, <br />SECTIONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMMENDED CHARTER OF l1iE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, and that It Is necessary to provide for the usual dally operation of <br />munidpal departments In that delay could Impair the Oty's ability to provide <br />necessary services In a timely manner, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BYl1iE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, srATE OF OHIO <br /> <br />SectIon 1.
