<br />ORDINANCE NO. 105-07 <br /> <br />SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 105-07 <br />~LAeEfl ON 1ST READING & REFERRED TO THE <br />COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE 12/17/07" 2nd 1/7/08. <br />BY' Antonio, Bullock, Butler, Dever, <br /> <br />Madigan, Powers. <br /> <br />An ORDINANCE to amend Ordinance 91-95 the Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of <br />the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the amendments to the Zoning Code promotes the development of and protects <br />existing residential uses found throughout the City thereby protecting property values; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the amendments to the Zoning Code encourages the orderly deveiopment and <br />retention of commercial uses in a manner consistent with the Community Vision. Now therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br />Section 1. That existing Section 1105.01 Establishment of Districts - of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, which now reads as follows' <br /> <br />1105.01 ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICTS <br />(a) The City is divided into the following districts, which may be referred to by the alphanumeric <br />designation assigned herein. <br /> <br />Residential, Single-Family, Low Density <br /> <br />R1L <br /> <br />Residential, Single-Family, Medium Density <br /> <br />R1M <br /> <br />Residentlai, Slngie-Family, High Density <br />Residential, Lagoon <br /> <br />R1H <br /> <br />L <br /> <br />Residentiai, Single- and Two-Family <br /> <br />R2 <br /> <br />Residential, Multiple-Family, Low Density <br /> <br />ML <br /> <br />Residential, Multiple-Famiiy, High Density <br /> <br />MH <br />C1 <br />C2 <br /> <br />Commerciai, Office <br /> <br />Commercial, Retaii <br /> <br />Commercial, General Business <br /> <br />C3 <br /> <br />Commercial, Public School <br /> <br />C4 <br />MUOD <br />PD <br /> <br />Mixed Use Overlay District <br />Pianned Development <br /> <br />Industrial <br /> <br />(b) Unless otherwise stated, all uses not specified as permitted in a district are prohibited <br /> <br />(c) A use designated by this Code as a conditionai use in the zoning district in which it is <br />located following adoption of this Code shall be deemed to have received a Conditional Use <br />Permit, as required by Section 1173.02. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />11 05.01 ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICTS <br />(a) The City is divided into the following districts, which may be referred to by the alphanumeric <br />designation assigned herein. <br /> <br />Residentiai, Single-Family, Low Density <br />Residential, Singie-Family, Medium Density <br /> <br />R1L <br /> <br />R1M <br /> <br />1 of 17 <br />
