Antonio, Bullock, sutler, <br />Dever, Madigan, Powers, <br />Summers. <br />AN ORDINANCE to amend the Zoning Code of the City of Lakewood to <br />incorporate sidewalk dining into the current provisions for Outdoor/Seasonal Dining. <br />WHEREAS, Lakewood is fortunate to be the home of so many fine dining <br />establishments that are unique and maintain the quality and character of our City; and <br />WHEREAS, seasonal, outdoor, sidewalk dining adds to the ambiance, walkability, <br />and appeal of our dining establishments and commercial areas. Now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br />Section 1. That Section 1103.02, Definitions, of the Zoning Code of the City of <br />Lakewood, currently reading as follows: <br />1103.02 DEFINITIONS <br />The following terms and phrases shall have, for purposes of the Code, the meanings as <br />set forkh in this section. <br />(a) ABUT or ABUTTING means having a common border with, or being <br />separated from such a common border by a right-of-way, alley, or <br />easement. <br />(jj) FAMILY means an individual or two (2) or more persons living together <br />as a single housekeeping group in a dwelling unit. A "single housekeeping <br />group" exists where the group of individuals share expenses and labor <br />related to the maintenance of the dwelling unit and are living and eating <br />together as a household. "Family" shall not include an individual <br />occupying a rooming unit nor a group of unrelated individuals occupying a <br />rooming house. <br />Outdoor Dining: Proposed Changes to Zoning Code Page 1 of 11 <br />Revised: 3/2/2009 <br />
