SL-10 PLACED ON <br />1~ READING & REFERRED TO THE PLANNING Commission 7/6/10, 2n0 READING 7/19/10, <br />referred to Economic Development Committee 9/8/10 <br />Ordinance No. 52-10 BY~ Antonio, Builock, Butler, <br />Madigan, Smith, Summers. <br />An Ordinance to amend Chapter 1127, Multiple-Family Residential Districts and <br />Chapter 1161, Conditional Uses, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood for <br />the purpose of conditionally permitting restaurant uses within Multiple-Family <br />Residential Districts within the City of Lakewood. <br />Whereas, Multi-Family High Density Residential Districts of Lakewood have <br />been the location of restaurant uses for more than a generation; and <br />Whereas, supporting existing uses that are part of the identity of the Gold Coast is <br />a priority for the residents of the neighborhood and its economic vitality; and <br />Whereas, there continues to be interest in using tenant spaces in Multi-Family <br />High Density Residential Districts for restaurant use from both businesses and patrons <br />alike. Now therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That Section 1127.04, Conditionally Permitted Uses, of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, currently reading as follows: <br />1127.04 Conditionally Permitted Uses <br />If approved by the Commission pursuant to Section 1173.02, the following may be <br />permitted as conditional uses provided that the standards and conditions hereinafter <br />specified are met: <br />(a) Convenience food shops or delicatessens, and barber and beauty shops, pursuant <br />to Section 1161.03(d). <br />(b) Places of Worship, pursuant to Section 1161.03(m). <br />(c) Professional, medical, and general business offices, pursuant to Section <br />1161.03(n). <br />(d) Type A Child Day-Care, pursuant to Section 1161.03(e). <br />(e) Parking facilities, including surface parking lots and parking garages of up to three <br />(3j stories in height, pursuant to Section 1161.03(1), provided that any structure complies <br />with all other provisions of this Chapter and the Ordinances. <br />
