PLACED ON 1ST READING & REFERRED TO <br />THE FINANCE COMMITTEE 2/21/12. <br />PLACED ON 2ND READING 3/5/12. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 17-12 BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, <br />Madigan, Nowlin, Powers, Smith. <br />AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it received the affirmative vote of at least <br />five members of Council or otherwise, to take effect and be in force after the earliest period <br />allowed bylaw authorizing the transfer and advance of certain funds. <br />WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five of its members determines that this ordinance <br />is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance shall take effect at the earliest date possible as <br />set forth in ARTICLE III, SECTONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF <br />THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of <br />the Ciry in that the City must appropriate and record all financial transactions within the <br />appropriate fiscal period. Now therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br />Section 1.
