<br />, <br /> <br /> ,~~ J~-"-~;.-.i-i-l.il I J~JI--'-¡"¡"'__"__.....w;.....;.¡w¡¡I..IJJ-JJ~~-,-"",,;,L....-...¡, <br /> f <br /> 1 I ) <br /> ( 'Iì <br /> ~,.~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2556 By Mrs. Knirk <br /> A resolution authorizing the Director of Law to print and <br />file briefs in the case of Jules Eshner vs City of Lakewood, No. <br />21,545 pending in the Supreme Court of Ohio, and to appear at Col- <br />umbus in said cause. <br /> Whereas Jules Eshner was convicted in the Municipal Court <br />of Lakewood of violating the traffic ordinance of the City and was <br />fined ten dollars and costs, which conviction was affirmed by the <br />Court of Appeals and which case has been carried to the Supreme <br />Court of Ohio by said Jules EShner, in which he raises the question <br />of the constitutionality of the traffic ordinance of the city of <br /> , <br />Lakewppd: <br /> THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Lakewood: <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Law be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to take all steps necessary to defend the <br />City in said action and to appear before the Supreme Court on April <br />30, 1929 or at such other time as same may be heard in said court. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is here- <br />by authorized to pay the expenses of the Director of Law in the pros- <br />ecution of said action and for printing briefs therefor. <br /> Section 3.
