RESOLUTION No. 3374 by Mr. Tyler AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorising the 1Gayor, as Director of Public Works, to advertise for bids for the sale of certain parcels of real estate, owned by the City of Lakewood, Ohio, located at the rear of lots Nos. 38 to 42 inclusive, on the easterly side of Thoreau Road, which real estate is no longer ,needed for municipal purposes, and repealing Resolution No. 3369, adopted by this Covncil July 6, 1948. WFIEREAS the owners of lots Nos. 38 to 42 on the easterly side of Thoreau Road have expressed a desire to purchase small parcels of land, ad3oining their respective properties, which land is presently owned by the City of Lakewood, and, WHEREAS, it is the desire of the prospective purchasers of these parcels of land that action be taken without delay, and, - WHEREAS,'an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preser+ration of the public property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, near THEREFORE r y BE TT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the sale of certain parcels of real estate, owned by the City of Lakewood, and no longer needed for municipal purposes, and which . parcels are fully described as follows: ~ 4 Parcel No. 1. Rsar of Lot No. 38, .Thoreau i?oad. 3itvated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga, State of -.W.W Ohio, and being part of Original Rockport Township, Section 21, bounded and described as follows: Beginning in the East line of the George Saal Estates Subdivision, as shown by plat recorded in Vol. 32 page 13 oY Ouyahoga County Map Records; at a point which is distant north 0' S4' 00" west, 50 feet along said easterly line from its intersection with the northerly line oY the N. Y. C. and St. L. R. R, right of way b6 feet wide. Thence from said place of beginning north 0. 54' 00" west along said easterly line of said subdivision 42.39 ft. to the southeasterly corner of Sublot DTo. 39 in the aforesaid George S8a1 Estates Subdivision. Thence nobhh 89. 06' east 26.70 feet; Thence south 0' S4' 00" east 42.96 feet to the northerly line of land now owned by the N.Y. C. and St. L. R• R. Situated in the Cit of Lakewood Count of Gu ho a State of Ohio and being part of Origittal Rockport Township, Section 21, bounded and described as followss _ Beginning in the east line of the George Saal Estate Subdivision, as show by the plat recorded in Vol. 32 Page la of Cuyahoga County Map Records,. at a point which is distant north 0. 54' 22" west 92.39' along said easterly line from its intersection with the northerly line of the N. Y. and St. L. R. R. right of way, 66 feet wide; said point is also the southeasterly corner of sablot No. 39 of said subdivision.
