R. where <br /> the surface of the pavement was removed due to the construction of a sewer, be <br /> +5""' resurfaced during the present year, and, <br /> F~HEREA:S, ah emergexiey exists to provide for the immediate <br /> preservation of the public property,_health and safety, and to provide for the <br /> usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> ~ <br /> BE IT RESCWED BY THE CCUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAIi'Et'ODD, STATE OF <br /> OHICt <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public b4orks, be, and <br /> he is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the resuri'acirsg of <br /> that portion of Giel Avenue, between Clifton Boulevard and the Nickel Pate Railroad <br /> where the surface had been romoved due to the construction of a sewer, with sheet aspt <br /> ~ or asphaltic concrete, and doing arm or all grading and draining, or other work <br /> necessary thereto. <br /> ~ Section'2. That the expense of this improvement shall. be'paid <br /> 3, ~ 14'om the Gasoline Tax and Motor Vehicle License Funds. - <br /> '4 <br /> r Section 3.
