By - Mr. Dawson. <br /> i <br /> I <br /> AN EP~LFP~GEPICY PESOL`JTION requesting the Director of Finance to <br /> file a certificate of maturity in connection with the issuance of Four Hundred <br /> `I Thousand Dollars (~1~00,000.00) of City of Lakewood -Hospital Building and <br /> Improvement Bonds« <br /> WI-IEREAS, this Council contemp7.atas issuing Four Hundred Thousand <br /> Dollars (~~00,000.00) of Bonds for the purpose of paying the cost and expense <br /> of constructing. and improving firepnmof hospital iwiildings, ands <br /> WHEREAS, Sections 2293-2 .and 229 }10 of the General Code require the <br /> fiscal officer of the City to certify to this Council his estimated life of <br /> the property,. asset or improvement, proposed to be acquired or constructed <br /> ' from the proceeds of said bonds and also to certify to this G uncil the <br /> maximum maturity ofswxh bonds calculated in accordance with tie provisions <br /> I of Section 2293-9 of the General Code including the weighted average of the <br /> amounts proposed to be expended for said several classes of improvements, .and, <br /> j <br /> w: <br /> y. WHEREAS, an emergency exists for the immediate preservation of the <br /> v~~ public health, welfare and safety and for the usual daily operation of a <br /> municipal department, and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Finance is the fiscal officer of this City <br /> as defined in Section 2293-1 of the General Code, now, therefore, <br /> tr< BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COIINCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE~OOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be, and he is hereby, <br /> ~ requested to certify to this Council his conclusions as to the estimated life <br /> of such improvement and the maximum maturity of such bonds with such other <br /> information as may be required lrf Law. <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to bean emergency <br /> measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, provided it receives <br /> the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br /> ~ shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption aid approval <br /> by the Mayor. <br /> i <br /> Ado~tedx Dec. 10, 19118.
