~ j ~ RESOLUTION N0. 31i2~ BY Mr. Quinn AN EPr'.ERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Viayor, as Director of Public Ctorizs, to advertise for bids for the purchase of sterilizing equipment, laundry equipment, operating lights, pneumatic tube system, hospital furniture, office furniture, kitchen equipment, refrigerating equipment and other equipment, furnishings and furniture as may be needed from time to time in connection with •i the construction, alteration and equipping of the hospital. ~iHEREAS, in $he construction, alteration and equipping of the hospital 6f it is necessary to purchase various items of equipment, furnishings and furniture, s: j as the construction program proceeds, and, WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation a~> j of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily ! operation of a municipal department, to wit: Laketivood Hospital, now, therefore, ' BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE C TTY OE' LAKE1l00D, STATE OF OHIO: j 4~~:i as~ Section 1. That the f~dayor, as Director of Public Works, be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase of sterilizing equip- j ment, laundry equipment, operating lights, pneumatic tube system, hospital furn- j iture, office furniture, kitchen equipment, refrigerating equipment and other i equipment, furnishings and furniture as may be needed from time to tune in con- . nection with the construction, alteration aqd equipping of the hospital. Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council it shall ` take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the i 3~ayor.
