McGill <br /> A~; EtiERGEP<CY RESOLUTION requesting the Airector of Finance to file <br /> a certificate of maturity 3n connection with the issuance of One Hundred <br /> Thousand Dollars 0100,000.00) CITY PORTION SE~YEFt I~PF~OEMENP ~PIDS. <br /> TrHT;r^•EAS, this Council contemplates Issuing One Hundred Thousand <br /> Dollars 0100,000.00) of bonds for the purpose of paying the oast and expense <br /> of improving various streets, by constructing, re-constructing or repairing <br /> sewer mains therein, and, <br /> WAERF.AS, Section 2293-10 of the General Cods requires the fiscal <br /> officer of the city to certify to this Council his estimate of the life oY <br /> the property, asset or ir-provement~ proposed to bs acquired or constructed <br /> from the proceeds of said bonds and also certify to this Council the maximum <br /> maturity of such bonds, calculated in accordance with the provisions of <br /> Section 2293-9 of the General Code, including the weighted average of the <br /> amount proposed to be e$pended for this improvement, and, <br /> f- WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the Smmediate preser- <br /> vation of the public property, health and safety and for the usual daily oper- <br /> ation of a municipal departments and <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Finance is the fiscal officer of this city <br /> as defined by Section 2293-1 of the General Cods, now, therefore, <br /> SE IT RrSOLVED BY TfiE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF L4KEYi00D, STATE OF OHZOa <br /> i <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is here by re- <br /> i quested tc certify to this Council his canclusions as to the estimated life <br /> i of such improvement and the maximum maturity of such bonds, with such other <br /> i infoanation as is required by law. <br /> <br /> E: <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emer- <br /> gency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br /> receives. the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br /> it shall take effect and be in Porce immediately upon its adoption and approval <br /> by the Mayor. <br /> ~ i <br /> Adopted December 5, 1949 <br /> ~"m.
