RESOIJJTION NO. 3445 BY Mr. Ward <br /> <br /> AN E~RGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the ~ayor, as Director <br />of Public Safety, to advertise for bids for the purchase of the necessary <br />~rlre and cable, to replac~ a portion of the Police Signal and Fire Alarm <br />Systems. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due to the deterioration of some of the wires of the <br />existing Police Signal and Fire Alarm Systems, it is necessary to pro- <br />ceed With the replacement of these wires and cables with as little delay <br />as possible, and, ~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate~ <br />preservation of the public prOperty, health and safety and to provide <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, there- <br />fore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director'Of Public Safety, be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase of <br />the necessary i~lre and cable, to replace a portion of the Police Signal <br />and Fire Alarm Systems. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the ~ayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:..
