Quinn <br /> BE IT ORDERED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD: <br /> WHEREAS, Clara Guenther has resigned as Deputy Clerk of <br /> Lakewood Municipal Court, after twenty-six (26) years of faithful <br /> service, and <br /> WHEREAS, Clara Guenther was the first employee being ap- <br /> pointed Deputy Clerk when Lakewood Municipal Court was created by <br /> the State Legislature and has conscientiously served under all six <br /> Municipal Judges since the founding of said Court, and <br /> z`~;~ WHEREAS, Clara Guenther has exemplified a Spartan-like <br /> devotion to her life work, having diligently, faithfully and con- <br /> sistentlp performed all the tasks incident to her position and even <br /> more by working long hours in the evenings to assure litigants and <br /> attorneys of prompt and efficient service. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the members of Lakewood <br /> City Counci~, in forma meeting assembled, are desirous of express- <br /> ing their esteem for such an enviable civic achievement and at the <br /> same time giving public recognition to Clara Guenther for her out- <br /> standing record of twenty-six (26) years of continuous devotion to <br /> her position as Deputy Clerk of the Municipal Court of Lakewood and <br /> <br /> .~;e to assure her of the deep feeling of appreciation that we bespeak <br /> in our name and in the name of all the citizens of Lakewood. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the members of Lakewood City <br /> - Council wish Clara Guenther every success possible in the next <br /> vocation, vacation or avocation that she may decide to undertake. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That this Resolution be spread <br /> upon the record of this meeting and that a copy thereof, duly <br /> authenticated, be forwarded to Clara Guenther by the Clerk of <br /> } <br /> Council. <br /> Adopted: January 4. 1954 <br /> Wm.
