i ~ RESOLUTION N0. 35$$ BY Mr. Cottermeyer AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, to advertise for bids for the removal or razing of the buildings at 1374 Warren Road, 1376-7$ Warren Road, 1371 Cook Avenue and 1375 Cook Avenue. WHEREAS, the properties at the addresses specified in the pre- amble hereof have been acquired in connection with the off-street parking improvement program and, WHEREAS, work on this improvement should be started with as little delay as possible and, WHEREAS, it is necessary to remove, either by moving or razing -:e-+ the buildings on these properties and WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate pre- servation of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, there- - fore, ~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section. 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the removal or razing of the buildings at 1374 Warren Road, 1376-7$ Warren Road, 1371 Cook Avenue and 13'75 Cook Avenue. Section 2. That in advertising for bids the advertisement provide for both the removal of the buildings from the premises or the razing of said buildings and removing all material and debris from the premises. Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an '=a emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of a13 members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
