_ _ _ <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 3592 BY Mr. Quinn <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of <br /> Public Works, to advertise for bids for the removal or razing of the <br /> buildings at 13$0 Warren Road and 13$1 Cook Avenue. <br /> WHEREAS, the properties at the addresses specified in the <br /> preamble hereof have been acquired in connection with the off-street <br /> parking improvement program, and <br /> WHEREAS,. the buildings on these premises have been vacated, <br /> some vandalism has occurred and it is necessary that these buildings <br /> be removed or razed at the earliest possible date, in order that the <br /> off-street parking improvement program may be proceeded with, and <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in order to provide for the im- <br /> mediate preservation of the public property, health and safety and <br /> to provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Mayorz as Director of Public Works be <br /> and he is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for <br /> the removal or razing of the buildings at 13$0 Warren Road and 13$1 <br /> Cook Avenue. <br /> Section 2. That in advertising for bids the advertisement <br /> and. bid blank shall provide for both the removal of the buildings <br /> from the premises or the razing of said buildings and removing all <br /> material and debris from the premises. <br /> <br /> k Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br /> emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br /> provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all mem- <br /> begs elected to Council, it shall take .effect and be in force im- <br /> mediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> ~ Ado ted: April 5. 1954 <br /> p Thomas C.
