BY Mr, Fahrenbach <br /> A RE50LUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalY <br /> cf the City of Lakewood to agre® to a modification of the <br /> agreement with the Board of County Commissioners dated May 21, <br /> 1951, changing the daily rate from $3.30_to X3.75. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to General Cods Section 4564, now Revised <br /> Code Section 1905..35, which provides for the use of .the County <br /> Jail at the expense of the municipal corporation, the City of <br /> Lakewood entered into an agreement with the Board of County <br /> xk, Commissioners dated May 21, 1951, providing for a daily rate <br /> <br /> ,~t,~ oS X3.30 fcr the housing and safekeeping ct prisoners; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms thereof, the Board has <br /> notified the Mayor oP increased costs and of its intention to <br /> terminate the agreement as of July 16, 1954, unless the daily <br /> rata is changed to mast such coats in the amount of ~3•?5, <br /> the Board suggesting a modification to such effect., nowt <br /> therefor®, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF'~THE CITY OF LABEWOOD~ <br /> STATE OF OHiOs <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, author- <br /> ized and directed, on behalf of the City of Lakewood, to <br /> agree with the Board of County Commissioners to a modifica- <br /> tion of the agreement of the City and the Board dated May 21, <br /> 1951,. changing the daily rate from X3.30, as provided in said <br /> agreement, to X3.75• <br /> Section 2.
