RESOLUTION NO. 36&3 BY Mr. Ward <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor. as Director <br />of Public Works, to advertise for bids for the pUrchase of gasoline <br />for the various departments of the city, for a period of one year <br />beginning September 16, 1955. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in order to provide for the im- <br />mediate preservation of the public property, health and safety and <br /> <br />to provide for the usual ~aily operation of a municipal department, <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OFT HE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: :~ <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase <br />of gasoline, for the various departments of the city, for a period <br />of one year, beginning September lS, 1955, in accordance with spec- <br />ifications submitted by the Director of Public Works, which are <br />hereby approved. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared robe an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:July ~, 1~ <br /> <br />Approved: July 6. 1955 <br /> <br />~m.
