RESOLUTION NO. 3757 BY: Messrs. Ward, Chockley, Fairgrieve, <br /> Fahrenbach, Gaydos, <br /> Gottermeyer, Quinn. <br /> A RESOLUTION proposing to allocate a portion of certain funds <br />toward the liquidation of the Police Relief and Firemen~s Relief and <br />Pension Fund deficit. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, There is unpaid as ef this date the sum of $10$,616,85 <br />to the individuals entitled to receive benefits from the Police Relief <br />Fund; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, There ~s unpaid as of this date the sum of $118,592o60 <br />to the individUals entmtled to receive benefits from the Firemen's <br />Pension Fund; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, It is the desire ef this Council to take steps toward <br />the liquidation of such deficit, to such a degree as the present fi- <br /> <br />uancial condition of the City will permit; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Council allocate pro rata to such funds, <br />a portion of the amount received froTM the Local Government Fund in <br />the year 19~7, in excess of the amount received by the City from such <br />fund in 1958. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby in- <br />structed to transmit duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to <br />the Budget Commission of Cuyahoga County and to the secretaries of <br />the respective funds. <br /> <br />Adopted:_ January 7. 1957 <br /> <br />Approved:.
