RESOLUTION NO. 3779 BY: Messrs. <br /> <br />Quinn, Ward, Chockley, <br />Fahrenbach, Fairgrieve, <br />Gaydos, Gottermeyer. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of <br />Public Safety, to advertise for bids for the purchase of eno new 750 <br />gallon pumping engine for the Fire Department. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Funds have been appropriated for the purchase of a <br />new pumper for the Fire Department, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, It is necessary that this pumper be purchased at as <br />early a date as possible, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, An emergency exists in order to provide for the im- <br />mediate preservation ef the public property, health and safety and <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Pmblic Safety, be <br />and he is hereby authorized te advertise for bids for the purchase of <br />one new 750 gallon pumping engine for the Fire Department. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: April 1, 19~7 <br /> <br />Approved: April 2. 1957 <br /> <br />Thoma.~ C.
