RESOLUTION NO. 3797 BY: Messrs. Fahrenbach, Fairgrieve, <br /> Gaydos, Gottermeyer, <br /> Quinn, Ward, Chockley. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of <br />Public ~o~rks, to advertise for bids for the purchase of two new trucks <br />for the Rafuse Collection and Disposal Department. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Funds have been appropriated for the purchase of two <br />new trucks for the Refuse Collection and Disposal Department, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, It is necessary that these trucks be purchased at as <br />early a date as possible, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, An'emergency exists in order to provide for the im- <br />mediate preservation of the ~ubl~c property, health and safety and to <br />provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal department now, <br />therefore, ' <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase of <br />two new trucks for the Refuse Collection and Disposal Department, <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: June 17.., 1957 <br /> <br />Approved: June 18, 1957 <br /> <br />Thomas Co Ward <br /> <br /> President <br /> <br />A.
