Fahrenbach, Fairgrieve, <br /> Gaydos, Gottermeyer, <br /> Quinn, Ward, Chockley. <br /> <br /> AN E~ERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director <br />of Public Safety, to adVertise for bids for the purchase of two <br />motorcycle radios and four automobile radios for the Police Depart- <br />ment. <br /> <br /> W/qEREAS, It is necessary to purchase this equipment at the <br />earliest possible date, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, An emergency exists in order to provide for the <br />immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety <br />and the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, there- <br />fore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Safety, be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase <br />o£ two motorcycle radios and four automobile radios for the Police <br />Department. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />~rovided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all mem- <br /> rs elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immedi- <br /> ately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: June 17, 1957 <br /> <br />Approved: June 18,.1957 <br /> <br />Thomas C.
