RESOLUTION NO. 3842 BY: Messrs. Fairgrieve, Gaydos, Gottermeyer, Lawther, Ward~ Chockley, Fahrenbach. A RESOLUTION requesting the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to draw and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood an advance of taxes collected f®r the year 1957 in such amounts as may be requested and available. WHEREAS, Section 321.34 of the Revised Code provides that when local authorities by resolmtion so request, the County Auditor shall draw and the County Treasurer shall pay on such draft to town- ship clerks, treasurers of municipal corporations, the clerk of any board of education, and the treasurer of any other political sub- division or taxing district whose funds derived from taxes or other s~rces are payable by l~w to the County Treasurer, any money that may be in the county treasury to the accounts of such local author- ities; and WHEREAS, It will be necessary for the City of Lakewood to obtain an advance of taxes prior to the regmlar tax settlement for the year 1957; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Amditor of Cuyahoga County be requested to draw and the Treasurer ~f Cuyahoga County be requested to pay to the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, an advance of taxes for the year 1957 in such amount as may be requested by him and which are available. Section 2. This resolution shall take effee~ and be in force upon its passage and approval hy the Mayor and at the earliest period allowed by law.
