RESOLUTION NO. 4012 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. <br /> <br />Williamson, Chockley, <br />Gottermeyer, Huffman, <br />Lawther. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTZON ~equesting the Director of Finance to <br />file a certificate of maturity in connection with the issuance of <br />Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,200.00) CITY PORTION SEWER IMPROVEMENT <br />BONDS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Council contemplates issuing Thirty Thousand <br />Dollars ($30,000.00) of bonds to provide a fund for the purpose of <br />paying the City's portion of the cost and expense of improving various <br />streets by constructing, reconstructing or repairing sewer mains <br />therein; and~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sections 133.24 and 133.21 of the Revised Code of <br />Ohio require the fiscal officer of the City to certify to this Council <br />the estimated life of the property, asset or improvement proposed to <br />be acquired or constructed from the proceeds of said bonds and also <br />certify to this Council the maximum maturity of such bonds calculated <br />in accordance with the provisions of Section 133.20 of the Revised <br />Code, including the weighted average of the amount proposed to be <br />expended; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Director of Finance is the fiscal officer of <br />the City of Lakewood as defined by Section 133.01 of the Revised Code; <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, An emergency exists to provide for the immediate <br />preservation of the public health, welfare and safety and the usual <br />daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore~ <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF 0HI0: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />requested to certify to this Council his conclusions as t~ the est- <br />imated life of such improvement and the maximum maturity of said <br />bonds together with such other information as may be required by law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: July 5, 1960 <br /> <br />F.
