RESOLUTION NO. 4041 BY: Messrs. <br /> <br />Williamson, Chockley, <br />Gaydos, Gottermeyer, <br />Huffman, Lawther, <br />Ward. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION requesting the Acting Director ~ <br />Finance to study the feasibility of reducing the annual levy of <br />taxes on real and personal property within the corporate limits of <br />the Cityof Lakewood for the purpose of paying current operating <br />expenses and debt service by .5 of one mill and to report to Council <br />thereon. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the intmediate preservation of the public property and <br />welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY~i~ii~HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OH:I0: <br /> <br /> Section. 1. That the Acting Director of Finance be~d he <br />hereby is requested to study the feasibility of reducing the annual <br />levy of taxes om real and personal property within the corporate <br />limits of the City o£ Lakewood for the purpose of paying current <br />operating expenses and debt service by .5 of one mill and to report <br />to Council thereon. <br /> <br /> Section R. This resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: February 20, 1961 <br /> <br />F.
