RESOLUTION No. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTIONauthorizing and directing <br />the Director of Public Works to enter into a concession agreement <br />for the operation of refreshment stands in Lakewood Park and <br />Madison Park for a period of one (1), three, (3), or five (5) <br />years. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measureproviding for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health, and for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- <br />ment, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a concession <br />agreement for the operation of refreshment stands in Lakewood Park <br />and Madison Park with the highest and best bidder for a period of <br />one (1), three, (3), or five (5) years, as may be determined by <br />the Board of Control. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the prean%ble <br />hereof and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirdsof all me~bers elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />andbe in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
