Ward, Williamson, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4078 BY: Chockley, Gaydos, <br /> Gottermeyer, Huffman, <br /> Lawther. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing payment Of a moral claim <br />in the amount of $76.66 to Dean A. Ramsey. <br /> <br /> WHEREAs, On June K0, 1961, a police cruiser collided with and <br />damaged a 1952 PlymoUth coupe, owned hy Dean A. Ramsey, while the <br />same was parked and unoccupied on Chester~and Avenue in Lakewood, and, <br /> <br /> WHE~S, Under the provisions of Section 701.02 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code, the City of Lakewood is not legally liable for such <br />damages, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This council has determined that it has a moral <br />obligation tO re£mburse Dean A. Ramsey for said damages, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolutiOn constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY ~ COUNCIL OF TRE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the DirectOr of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to Pay to Dean A. Ramsey the sum <br />of $76.66 for the cost of the repair of damage to a 1952 Plymouth <br />coupe inflicted by a police cruiser of the City of Lakewood on <br />June 10, 1961. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its adoptiOn and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:. <br /> <br />F.
