RESOLUTiON NO~ 4080 BY:Messrs. Bottermeyer, Huffman, Lawther, Ward, Williamson, Chockley, Gaydos. AN E~RGENC"F ~E~OLUTION mu~orlzin9 th~ Director of Public Works to enter into a contract for the purchase of one air compressor for th~ DivisiOn Of Water, Department of Public Works, and for the sale of une used truck and air compressor, and to repeal Resolution No. 4040, adopted February 6, 1961. WHEREAS, It has become necessary to replace the present air compressor in use in the Division of Water, Department of Public Works, becauseof delapidation, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public welfare and safety and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~WOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director Of Public Works be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase of one air compressor and for the sale of one used truck and air compressor for the Division of water, Department of Public Works, with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law. Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor, and Resolution No. 4040, adopted February 6, 1961, shall be and is hereby repealed.
