Williamson, Chockley, <br /> Gaydos~ Gottermeyer, <br /> Huffman~ Lawther~ <br /> Ward. <br /> AN E~ERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to enter into a contract for the purchase of the necessary <br />requirements of gasoline for the several departments of the city <br />for a period of one year beginning September 16, 1961. <br /> <br /> k~EREAS, It is necessary to furnish the several departments <br />of the city with gasoline for the operation of vehicles and motorized <br />equipment, and, <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property and <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATEOF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Publlc Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the <br />purchase of the necessary requirements of gasoline for a period <br />of one year beginning September 16, 196t,~ for the several departments <br />of the city with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayo~. <br /> <br />Adopted:....~eptem~er 5, ~961. <br /> <br />F.
