RESOLUTION NO. ~100 <br /> <br />BY: ~essrs. <br /> <br />Chockley, Gaydos, <br />Gottermeyer, Huffman, <br />Lawther, Ward. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Finance to expend a sum not to exceed $375.00 for <br />the purpose of allowing City employees to attend a training <br />program for motor vehiole supervisors at Western Reserve <br />University. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health, safety and welfare and for the usual dailY operation of <br />a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is. <br />hereby authorized to expend a sum not to exceed $375.00 for the <br />purpose of allowing five (5) employees in the Department of <br />Public Safety and Department of Public Works to attend the <br />Training Program for Motor Vehicle Supervisors at Western ReserVe <br />University. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: November 20,.1961 <br /> F.
