RESOLUTION NO; 4109 BY: Messrs. Lawther, Usher, Ward, Wendling, Williamson, Gaydos, Huffman. A RESOLUTION requesting the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to draw and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County to Pay to the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood an advance of taxes collected for the year t961 in such amounts as may be requested and available. WHEREAS, Section 321.3~ of the Revised Code provides that when local authorities by resolution so request, the County Auditor shall draw and the County Treasurer shall pay on such draft to township clerks, treasurers of municipal corporations, the Clerk of any board of education, and the treasurer of any other political subdivision or taxing dis- trict whose funds derived from taxes or other sources are payable by law to the County Treasurer, any money thatmay be in the county treasury to the accounts of such local author- ities; and WHEREAS, It will be necessary for the City of Lakewood to obtain an advance of taxes prior to the regular tax set- tlement for t~ year 1961, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAEEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section I. That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be requested to draw and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County be re- quested to pay to the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, an advance of taxes for the year 1961 in such amount as may be requested by him and which are available. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect and be in force upon its passage and approval by the Mayor amd at the earliest period allowed by law. Adopted: January 2~ 1952 , Bober~ M..L~w~her .
