RESOLUTION NO~ 4152 BY: Messrs. Huffman, Lawther, Usher, Ward, Wendling, Williamson, Gaydos. AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessments levied on permanent parcel number 314-2-131 on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's Records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessments for the year 1962 and subsequent years. EHEREAS, The City has special assessments charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 34~58, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on July 7, 1958, and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessments levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart~ ment; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, sTATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $58.92 tendered in payment of the princip~ and interest for the year 1962 and subsequent years of special assessments charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 314-2-131 on the Auditor's Records of CUyahoga Councy, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 34-58, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood, in July 7, 1958. Section 2. That said special assessments as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be andhe is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessments for the year 1962 and subsequent years levied under Ordinance No. 34-58, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on July 7, 1958, on permanent parcel number 314-2-131 on the County Auditors Records and further described as being sublot number 60 in the John Hall Subdivision, each annual assessment being in the amount of $19.64. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessments cancelled. Section 4. ~%at this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
