RESOLUTION NO~ 4152 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. <br /> <br />Huffman, Lawther, <br />Usher, Ward, <br />Wendling, Williamson, <br />Gaydos. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the <br />principal and interest on special assessments levied on <br />permanent parcel number 314-2-131 on the Cuyahoga County <br />Auditor's Records and authorizing the County Auditor to <br />cancel said special assessments for the year 1962 and <br />subsequent years. <br /> <br /> EHEREAS, The City has special assessments charged against <br />the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance <br />No. 34~58, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on <br />July 7, 1958, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment <br />of the principal portion and interest on the special assessments <br />levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section <br />5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart~ <br />ment; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, sTATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept <br />the sum of $58.92 tendered in payment of the princip~ and <br />interest for the year 1962 and subsequent years of special <br />assessments charged against the property described as permanent <br />parcel number 314-2-131 on the Auditor's Records of CUyahoga <br />Councy, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 34-58, adopted by <br />the Council of the City of Lakewood, in July 7, 1958. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessments as hereinbefore <br />set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, <br />and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be andhe is hereby authorized <br />to cancel said special assessments for the year 1962 and subsequent <br />years levied under Ordinance No. 34-58, adopted by the Council of <br />the City of Lakewood on July 7, 1958, on permanent parcel number <br />314-2-131 on the County Auditors Records and further described as <br />being sublot number 60 in the John Hall Subdivision, each annual <br />assessment being in the amount of $19.64. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this <br />resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of <br />having said special assessments cancelled. <br /> <br /> Section 4. ~%at this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: March 5, 1962 ...
