RESOLUTION NO. 4157 BY: Messrs. Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendling, Williamson, <br /> Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Lawther. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of <br />Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts for the <br />purchase of one new dump truck, one new platform body truck <br />with winch and hoist and one new brush chipper and the sale <br />of one used dump truck and one used platform body line truck, <br />for the Division of Parks and Public Grounds, Department of <br />Public Works. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constituteS an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation of <br />the public safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation <br />of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO~ <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or <br />contracts for the purchase of one new dump truck, one new platform <br />body truck with winch and hoist and one new brush chipper, and <br />for the sale of one used dump truck and one used platform body <br />line truck as trade-ins, with the lowest and best bidder after <br />advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: ,,%pril 16~ 1962 <br /> <br />Robert M.
