RESOLUTION NO. 4161 BY:Messrs. Gaydos, Hu£fman, <br /> Lawther, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling, <br /> Williamson. <br /> AN EMERGENCY B~SOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, <br />as Director of Public Safety, to enter into a ' <br />contract for the purchase of one new % ton pick-up truck <br />for the Division of Fire, Department of Public Safety. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation of <br />the public safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation <br />of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public <br />Safety, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract for the purchase of one new ½ ton <br />pick-up truck and for the sale of one 1953 % ton pickLup truck <br />as a trade-in on such new motor vehicle, with the lowest and <br />best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:....May 7, 1962 <br /> <br />Robert M.
